Fresh Chicks Market!!

Tomorrow is the Fresh Chicks Farmer's Market in Peterborough from 11-4! Make sure to check for the Three Chickadees! Here's what our lovely tent looks like!

Bedroom for $250!

Okay, so I designed a bedroom for the Uplands Inn in Antrim, NH! It was a blank room and I had so much fun giving it a country-inspired theme! Here are the before and afters!

The curtains were already made but were way too long for such a small room, so I cut about a foot off the bottom and made a few pillows! Very Cheap. The postcard decoration hanging over the bed is just so sweet. They date back to the 1900's and all have their own little letters to loved-ones! At around $5 for the entire project, they are worth much more than that!

Twine Decor

We love twine. It can be used for so much! Try re-purposing an old wine bottle as a new decor for any room in your home. Here's the how-to:

Start with any old wine bottle!

Use any twine you prefer. This time, I used white twine. Simple and Sophisticated.

Then, begin to wrap! This may take a few tries! The neck and curve into the base of the glass are by far the most difficult. To help set the twine, use a little clear glue as you wrap, to ensure the twine stays in place! At the bottom, glue it into place before cutting!

 Voila! You have some new decor, for practically nothing! You can stop anywhere, but I did mine all the way to the bottom, to make for a unified piece.

Add a bunch of them with some beautiful wildflowers and look at this gorgeous decoration!Enjoy!
